Chidiebere Onuokoro graduated from the Ebonyi State University with a Second Class (Upper Division) LL.B degree in 2012 and passed out of the Nigerian Law School also with Honours. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2014.

Upon enrollment at the Bar, he joined the law offices of Messrs. Amaran & Associates in Lagos, Nigeria for his National Youth Service Corps as a Litigation Counsel, and was with the firm till 2016 when he joined Andrias & Co., also in Lagos, as a Litigation Associate. In 2018, he joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at Paradigm Solicitors & Advocates, and rose to the position of Practice Manager (Litigation and Dispute Resolution). He subsequently joined Animashaun, Animashaun & Associates as the Team Lead, Litigation & Dispute Resolution before becoming a Partner at A.C Reeve Attorneys in 2022.

In the course of his career, Chidi has tried several matters both at the trial and appellate courts. Whilst the bulk of his matters are from his area of specialization, commercial litigations, ranging from banking to contracts, sale of goods, aviation, intellectual property, consumer rights protection, maritime, debt recovery, labour and employment, corporate law, credit reporting, etcetera, he has also been involved and/or litigated matters in other areas, such as criminal law, land law, data protection, tenancy, fundamental rights, electoral matters, chieftaincy matters, family and probate, etcetera.

Chidi is an astute counsel with an eye for excellence. He is goal-driven and very passionate about his work, and this he always brings to bear in the representation of his clients.

He is the team lead in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution department, and also heads the firm’s Data Protection department.

He is certified in the Arbitration of International Disputes by Leiden University, Netherlands; and Compliance by the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the NBA Section on Legal Practice and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
